New full length from this bunch of Brum anarcho street punx, think of GBH with brains!. " says the info, in fact this is their best material and i´m pretty much surprised. They changed the singer once again and blow out 15 new Tracks lyricwise in a simialr style than Oi Polloi which is not an insult here than they have plenty to say. If you like good old UK Punkrock mixed with a bit more sing a long anthems this is what you probably look for. Good one. 

Review - Contempt have been kickin´out punk rock tunes since 1984. The band came together out of the ashes of three Wolverhampton based punk bands Vendetta, Seventh Plague and Pulex Irritans and have since gone on to tour all over the UK and in Europe. The bands line-up has changed a lot over the years, but the music remains true and Contempt just refuse to go away......Contempt play mid tempo - fast anarcho punk rock, with political lyrics covering issues such as war, poverty, human rights, animal rights, anti-fascism, anti-racism and anti-capitalism. Just a few lines to mention this CD as I think its been around for a year or so now but after their fine performance at a gig in the King Edward VII pub in Norwich on 12/04/09 I just had to make the purchase. Had a brief word with Contempt founder member Mart just before the gig and he told me that they are in their 25th year now! Well as things go I doubt they have done much better than this over those years; 15 tracks in all with plenty of tuneful and hard hitting punk backing up the lyrics which treat our political and corporate lords and masters with the Contempt they so rightly deserve; fantastic and great stuff live I can assure you!
