No Bosses Here is a “how to do it” manual which tells people how to start their own worker controlled co-operative workplace. The manual describes the concept of a collective in which all members share decision makin. It then tells how to form a collective, how to set up the decision-making structure, and how to deal with the interpersonal problems that come up in co-operative workplaces. Chapters and appendicies cover hiring and firing, the relationship of collectives to the social change movement, book-keeping, pricing and incorporation.

33th anniversary reprint of the first edition of this timeless classic. Somebody had to keep it in print! Illustrator Randy Elliott gave us his blessing and Vocations for Social Change is no longer with us. Multiply all the dollar amounts by five (including the original $3 price) and this handbook still holds up for grass roots worker cooperative organizers while giving a view to the early days of the modern worker coop movement.
