The volume consists of the complete set of presentations made by Zapatista spokespeople to a seminar convoked by the EZLN in May of 2015 in San Cristobal, Chiapas, in which they invited thinkers from across the world to join them in the work of analyzing contemporary capitalism. In these texts, the Zapatistas sound the alarm regarding the crisis of capitalism or what they call “the coming storm,” arguing that in order to develop strategies to confront this crisis we must understand our histories and our contemporary context. They also offer up a method for doing so - thinking, analyzing, and developing concepts. Demonstrating their own practices of critical thought, they outline the contours of the crisis and also the strategic innovations that have allowed the Zapatistas not only to survive, but to pose one of the few concrete anti-capitalist practices of politics today.

It's a 350+ page book with around 30 pages of colour artwork too.

Published through Paperboat Press, the proceeds from the book sales will go back to Zapatista communities. 2016.
