The 2012 album from Canaduh's (in)famous punk rock outfit DOA.
D.O.A. are putting the finishing touches on their new studio album:We Come In Peace. Canada’s punk pioneers recorded the bed tracks this past December and have just finished all the overdubs,Sho Murray and Chon (co-producers) start mixing this week. The album will be out in June on Sudden Death Records. We Come In Peace takes a determined political stance with songs like: We Occupy, Dirty Bastards, We’re Bloodied But Unbowed and Fuck It. The album also features a heavy slice of ska, reggae and dub, with five songs in this vein, including a stirring version of Toxic Reason’s classic: War Hero. You’ll also get your head ripped off with crushing anthems like: Boneyard, Bring Out Your Dead andWho The Hell Do You Think You Are. Joe Shithead Keithley, Canada’s godfather of hardcore also took his old friend Jello Biafra’s advice and recorded an acoustic version of D.O.A.’s classicGeneral Strike, as a sign of the times. D.O.A. have also recorded a great version of The Beatles song Revolution.
