LODZIEJE ROWEROW started in 1993 in a small town of Northern-Eastern Poland, Zambrow. They were influenced by the rich Polish hardcore punk
history of the 80's and early 90's but also by more emotionally
driven mid and late 80's hardcore bands from Washington DC, and most
of all, Verbal Assault, who played in Poland in the late 80's and
make a big impact on them to this days. Since
the start band gained their own individuality and worked hard on
their message and intelligent message focused on social, political
and personal issues. Since their debut tape from 1996 they were
strongly related with Refuse Records and after years, hundreds of
shows and couple of releases they became one of the most import band
in Poland and gained legendary status over here.

Złodzieje Rowerów – jedna z czołowych polskich grup hardcore punkowych lat 90. XX wieku.
Zespół powstał wiosną 1993 w Zambrowie, pod wpływem filmu "Złodzieje rowerów" włoskiego neorealisty Vittorio De Sica. Używają też nazwy ZXRX. Muzykę ZXRX powszechnie określa się jako emohardcore, wywodzący się w prostej linii od amerykańskiego zespołu VERBAL ASSAULT.
Złodzieje Rowerów grali m.in. z takimi zespołami jak: Apatia, Harum-Scarum, As Friends Rust, Highscore, Lvmen, Homomilitia, Resisters czy Inner Terrestrials. Zespół wielokrotnie brał udział w imprezach wspierających takie inicjatywy jak np. Amnesty International, Food Not Bombs, Federacja Zielonych, Anarchistyczny Czarny Krzyż czy squatting. Odbył kilka tras koncertowych odwiedzając Francję,Anglię, Niemcy, Austrię, Białoruś, Litwę czy Łotwę. Zespół na koncie ma cztery albumy – "Złodzieje Rowerów", "Emo'la", "Ten Moment" oraz najnowszy z kwietnia 2009r- "...Gdy Wrzała Krew". Szacunek sceny hardcore punk zdobył świetnymi emocjonalnie koncertami. Od początku istnienia związany jest z warszawską wytwórnią niezależną – Refuse Records.Członkowie ZXRX współtworzyli również inne zespoły: JUDY 4, OREIRO, APRIL, SANCTUS JUDA, KARMA, TOKARZ INFERNO
