Curdled / The Moondance by Thatcher On Acid
Thatcher on Acid or TOA were a fine and intelligent bunch of South London based anarcho punx without the studs or mohicans. Lyrically one of the most thoughtful bands from that era.

All this iffy info comes from myspace;
The band formed around 1983 in Somerset , the founding members knew each other because they all went to Bruton Grammar School, and they're year group was the first that let girls into grammar school. Joseph Porter from the mob and Blyth Power was also in They're school, though is several years older. This lineup consisted of: Ben- Guitar/Vocals, Mat - Bass, and Martin on drums.
A year or two later, Ben and Martin were squatting in Lambeth, South London, whilst Mat went off to medical school, but was still in the band.
A little while later they released they're first couple of albums on "All The Madmen Records".
Theyr first album and 12' was produced by Martin Beresford
Martin left the band sometime in 1987(though not exact, it was shortly after the first "Feeding of the 5000" gig at the Brixton academy).
Andy Tuck then took over on drums.
Mat continued on bass even though he was still training to be a doctor(supposedly he now works at a hospital in the South West of England), although Martin played bass on the "Steerpike" album for some reason.
Towards the end of the band a bassist called Bob(Butler?) joined but its uncertain if he played on any records.
Ben went on to do Schwartzeneggar and The Tone, and more recently, and currently, Hard Skin, with Sean from Wat Tyler.Also, I believe ben did a lot of driving for bands, mostly from the U.S.
Martin Didnt go on to do anything musically and is training to be a Jungian psychologist.
Mat is currently a doctor(as mentioned earlier).
Andy was in some other bands, one of which did a piss-take of Madonnas sex book which included pictures of him naked(Wat Tyler), Andy was also in Schwartzeneggar, and is currently drumming for Robb Johnson.
Bob also went on to do Schwartzeneggar and the Tone, and is currently working as a manager for a juggling ball manufacturer.
From what I currently know, which isnt an awful lot, the band consisted of 3 members and didnt have a drummer, which to me is rather hard to recognise, apart from a couple of songs where the drum machine is obvious in a couple of segments, and are supposedly the first punk band to properly integrate voice recordings etc behind the main music. That isnt a lot I know, I hope to improve that with feedback from anybody that knows more than what i do or knows a good source where i can find information on them. Review of Curdled/Moondance on amazon.co.uk: Thatcher on Acid rode the wave of mid-eighties post-new wave anarcho punk, achieving a fuller sound (with better production than some of the equivalent bands around at the time and, lets face it, a bit of musical skill thrown in as well). Heavier than the earlier Chumbawamba sound (eg Pictures of Starving Children . . .), but motivated by the same sense of disgust at the effects of international capitalism, 'Curdled' is a raw, guitar-ridden blast of anger at the English political situation, as the band's name suggests. Songs are complex in construction and the lyrics are articulate and argumentative; listening to the album as a whole you get a sense of a coherent world view uncommon in the world of eighties punk. Definitely recommended for those who like the ideas but don't get on with the purer anarcho punk sounds of Crass or Conflict; if you like this, check out anything by The Mob, Zounds and Blyth Power, all of whom I arbitrarily connect with Thatcher on Acid. This CD comes with a free live recording (not a bad one, either) not included on the vinyl version I have
