Janelle Hessig from TALES OF BLARG acting as guest coordinator, we have
compiled an issue jam pact with comics and interviews with those who have
shaped the US punk scene with their medium. There is an illuminating article
about elusive and rumored still alive SHAWN KERRI, the unsung woman
responsible for all the Circle Jerk and Germs artwork and amazing, original
comics style. Interviewed in this issue are the famed JAIME HERNANDEZ of
Love and Rockets discussing the his characters, their bodies and their
lives, GARY PANTER who created the iconic Screamers image and some
beautifully frightening characters, MIMI POND of Mabuhay Gardens scene in
the early San Francisco punk world and ED LUCE creator of Wuvable Oaf, the
hilariously funny, punk and stereotype shattering in his and collaborator
Matt Wobensmith’s “post gay/post bear” work. Also featured are comics from
