The Radical Poster Collective was established in 2022 with the intention of collating and making available a collection of radical posters.

This is our first published collection with Active Distribution, hand-picked by the collective members, to give a flavour of the posters that were in circulation during the Spanish Revolution and Civil War.

These posters were not just art – they were direct extensions of the revolutionary movement, plastered on city walls, and dicituted in union halls. They symbolised and idealised the wars defiance against fascism.
